Be blessed by God’s love this week! Prayer requests?
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
When I look into the distant pastures from the ranch house, I see smudges of yellow, white and gray dotting the green grass as if a giant licked his thumb and smeared dabs of watercolor here and there. But when I grab the hiking boots for closer inspection, fields of flowers come into view. And when closer still, I spot individual tiny buds of yellow, blue, pink, purple, magenta, white and rose-orange colored flowers waving in the wind. Some stand high on long stalks, others snuggle close to the ground.
Might this be how God sees his children? Not as distant smudges on the face of the earth, but as individuals with separate personalities, beauty, talents, and yes, concerns. We can’t comprehend how He could care for all the people of the world but, He does. His vantage point is perfect and personal for each of us. He not only cares, but he loves you with a fierce, wonderful and eternal love.
You and I may look at the world and see hopeless masses of humanity. God sees a people worth saving, one by one. Does He hold your heart?
