Bible Blessings – The Cow Trails – Psalm 17:5

Blessings of following God’s Way this week. Prayer requests?

Psalm 17:5, “My steps have held fast to Your paths. My feet have not slipped.”

The ranch pastures are lined with cow trails, but they remain unseen until one seeks them out. Once revealed, they’re obvious and fairly straight, well-worn paths that always lead to one of the ponds, also known as tanks, in Texas. The cattle know when they follow these paths, water awaits and their thirst will be satisfied.

Sometimes believers fail to grow in Christ or discern His will. We grow increasingly frustrated in the world’s fields of political correctness; God’s path of truth becomes  muddled and clarity is obliterated. But when we seek God through His designated paths, we’re led to the source, the Lord Jesus Christ. Spiritual growth can follow and His Will becomes clearer.

Follow the path of His Word; read, study and memorize the Bible. Follow the path of prayer; talk with God and listen. Follow the path of worship; praise and adore Him. Follow the path of fellowship; gather with other believers to study, learn and grow. Follow the path of godly service; minister to others in God’s name. Follow the path of telling and showing; share Jesus and encourage others in their Christian growth. Follow the path of thanksgiving; be grateful to God for all. Choose God’s Way and find The Source of Life eternal.
